Ispat Autonomous College follows the fee refund and cancellation guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, and the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Odisha, as applicable to Non-Government Aided and Self-Financing Colleges, and as amended from time to time.

Refund of Excess Payments

In the event of any excess payment, duplicate payment, or double deduction arising from an online transaction or technical error, the student shall submit a written application to the Principal through the Accounts Section, along with valid documentary evidence of the transaction (such as bank statement, transaction receipt, or payment confirmation).

Upon verification of the claim, the excess amount, if found admissible, shall be refunded to the original bank account used for the transaction or to the bank account of the student/parent, as applicable, within 7 to 10 working days.

All refunds shall be processed only through digital modes such as NEFT, RTGS, or Online Bank Transfer. No cash refund shall be made under any circumstances.
